I have two sim accounts and place orders on the DOM. Both sim accounts show orders on the DOM while only one sim account shows orders on the execution chart even with Show Order Fills enabled. This is with the trade window opened for the chart. This was not always the case but has happened recently and I've searched far and wide and cannot find why one sim account is linked to the execution chart and the other sim account is not. Thanks for your help! |

You should not be seeing orders from multiple accounts at the same time on either the Trading DOM or the Chart. You should only see the orders for the currently selected trading account on the particular display. In general, the account is controlled by the Trade Window. Refer to the following: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Sorry my first message was unclear. I'm not trying to see orders for both Sim accounts at once. Sim 1 orders show up on my execution chart when Sim 1 is selected in the trading window. Sim 2 orders do not show up on my execution chart when Sim 2 is selected in the trading window. Both Sim 1 and Sim 2 orders are on the DOM when each is selected in the trading window. Thanks! |

Check to see if the setting Trade >> Only Orders From Chart is enabled on the chart. We wonder if the orders from Sim2 were entered on the Trading DOM, but Sim1 were not.

I believed I checked that setting but will again when home. All orders from both Sim accounts placed on the same DOM (no chart orders). Thanks! |

Let us know what you see about that setting. We duplicated the process you followed and we are unable to reproduce the issue except when the option for Only Orders From Chart was enabled.

Both sim accounts show orders on the DOM while only one sim account shows orders on the execution chart even with Show Order Fills enabled. So you cannot see the order fills on this chart? If the question is about the order fills, this section here is very comprehensive on this: Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Displaying Order Fills on the Chart (Displaying Order Fills on the Chart) If the order fills are actually in the Trade Activity Log, you will see them on the chart if the settings are correct. Also make sure the Date-Time of those fills is correct. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Hi again, I checked again and Only Orders From Chart is not enabled. Also, I check the Trade Log and it seems order are being accepted for both Sim 1 and Sim 2. Yet only Sim 1 order positions are showing on my execution chart while both Sim 1 and Sim 2 are showing on my DOM where I place the orders. Thanks again! |

We called the user and helped them with this. They did not have the correct Trade Account selected on the chart where the Orders and Position were not appearing.

Yes, thank you for your excellent help once again. Just a note for others that to view two Sim accounts on the same execution chart make sure that you have enabled Chart Settings, Advanced Settings 2, Trade Window with a Link Number. This is what allowed me to view both Sim orders on the same chart. Thanks again! |
