Newbie here, 100% trading off of a DOM, is there a way to place an order 10 ticks from current bid/ask? Like trading ES and I want to enter an order 10 ticks below current bid, as the ES moves up and down quickly, this would be extremely useful in my scalping methods. Thanks Kurt |

Go to Global Setting >> ChartDOM Settings and set the Order Types as in the attached pic. These not the default settings, but should be, IMO. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-01-06 14:31:12

So basically you ignore all RIGHT-CLICK actions on the DOM? From a UX/UI perspective, that seems kind of counterintuitive to me, especially where STOP or STOP-LIMIT orders are concerned. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-01-06 17:16:27

I also discovered today I can create a keyboard shortcut that will place an order x number of ticks away. This is exactly what I needed.

Global Settings -> Customize Keyboard Shortcuts -> Custom Trading Keyboard Shortcuts Choose one of the customs and off to the right is Customize Trading Command Let me know if this doesn't work for you and I will create a short video; I have included a screenshot of one that I did. |
