Hi, thanks for providing the best trading platform out there.
A little background. I had Sierra connected to my IB for trading...everything worked great. I traded futures and a handful of stocks daily using the simple stock symbols like AAPL, AMD, AMZN etc. Didn't need to add the extra formatting for these symbols.

No issues with fills, and cancelling orders etc.

I recently added the feeds from sierra so that I can get accurate volume. So I'm using every data feed that I can use from Sierra and trading with IB. I'm using denali for futures and the exchange data feed with bar chart for stocks.

Since I made this change to sierra data feeds, I'm having an issue with certain stocks not going through the api to place the order in IB.
For instance, I can trade futures perfectly no issues. I can also trade AAPL just fine. However, if I try to trade AMD...there is no passthrough to IB. I thought it might be the ver of IB so I downgraded to the stable release....but no avail.

I realize this is very low on the importance queue of things for support to help with...but I was just thinking maybe there is something I'm missing, a setting perhaps?

The data feeds work great by the way....just need to figure out why this one stock symbol is not passing through to place orders in IB. Thanks! Any advice helps.

There has been a change to where you need to specify a more complete symbol for IB. We recommend using the Complete Stock Symbol Format as defined in this section:
Interactive Brokers Symbols: Stock Format

But really, IB would be best able to tell you what you need to do in terms of the symbol specification.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Thanks, took a bit of trial and error but it's working good now.

When using the full symbol syntax in the "Symbol" box within chart settings it would function correctly to make trades...however the volume was really jacked up...seems like it wasn't pulling from the Exchange data feed...but from IB once again.

So I had to use the simple symbol syntax like "AMD" in the "Symbol" box and the full syntax like "AMD-STK-SMART/NASDAQ-USD" in the Trade and Current Quote symbol box.

Thanks for your assistance. Appreciate it.
