Hi, I have a brokerage account with IB and have connected the exchange to Sierra. However, every time I load up a stock i get an error message 'symbol is unknown - the contract description specified for PYPL is ambigious; you must specify the currency'. Please can you clarify what this means? Thanks |

I am also a IB client, it is always a headache to find out the symbols for any instrument. The symbol for PayPal if you use IB data feed, is (all letters have to be exact as it shows): PYPL-STK-SMART/NASDAQ-USD Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-01-04 04:07:38
