Hi, Both Stage5 Trading and Edge Clear are now using the Sierra Chart Teton Order Routing Service. Here is a link to the Sierra Chart Support Board https://www.sierrachart.com/SupportBoard.php Please let me how long before this is available for AMP traders using Sierra Charts. We would not mention particular brokers who are using the Teton order routing service. Instead you need to say that the service is supported by the following clearing firms: Advantage Dorman Trading Phillip Capital Soon ED&F Man We are also seeing if Iron Beam will support it as well. It is ultimately the clearing firms who make this possible. Not so much the brokers ( although they do have an influence upon the firms). And in the case of AMP, they are not a direct clearing firm. I would like AMP to support Teton order routing service as well! One of the reasons is that I had a very difficult time (maybe 10-15 minutes) to close my open Long CL positions during the day oil crashed to negative $42. BTW, SierraChart, Please make sure your order routing service could handle negative prices. |

Sierra Chart has always been able to handle negative order prices. This has never been a problem. This also goes for the Teton order routing as well because it is using Sierra Chart in the background. So it is not good that other providers had an issue with this. here is a reply from AMP to me about order routing AMP (AMP Global (USA)) Jan 2, 2022, 3:59 PM CST Order Routing is a very complex operation... We will maintain communication with Sierra and send an announcement once this service has matured. For example, CQG, Rithmic, and TT....all have been performing order routing services for 20+ years...and they still get issues. So please do not be in a hurry... From our understanding, they have very few traders set up on it... |
