Hi,

I’ll be trading with Straits Financials with a new account that they’re about to set-up for me.

I’d like to know with whom should I set-up my market data. Also, can I trade future options using your platform,

SC is wonderful to trade certain asset classes but options is not one of them. They don't have options chains or analysis of any kind. See these support threads:

Option Chain

Options Spreads

I'd recommend Tastyworks, Interactive Brokers, Etrades, TDAmeritrade, etc. if you want to trade options. Tastyworks has my strongest recommendation of those (unless you need an API).

We are not familiar with Straits Financial, so you would need to ensure that they are using either CQG or Rithmic for Order Routing, otherwise you will not be able to use Sierra Chart with them at all.

If they do use either CQG or Rithmic, then you would need to follow the appropriate Setup Instructions to get your Sierra Chart connected to your order routing service.

For CQG, follow these instructions:
CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

For Rithmic, follow these instructions
Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

----

You can use the data from CQG or Rithmic, but you will find that they are lacking in one area or another. We recommend using our Denali Exchange Data Feed instead. Refer to the information at the following link, which also includes Setup Instructions:
Denali Exchange Data Feed

----

You can view and trade Options in Sierra Chart, but as noted above, we do not have some of the advanced features many Options traders are looking for.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

I can see that SC can’t be used on trading future options. I have another issue though, I have subscribed for Denali feed just now. The ES intraday chart has no historical data before 2022. The rest, MES, NQ, MNQ are good. Can you please take a look what’s going on?

Why do you say this?:
I can see that SC can’t be used on trading future options.

You can use Sierra Chart for trading options. In the case of CQG, refer to:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/CQGTrading.php#CQGOptionSupportPolicy

The ES intraday chart has no historical data before 2022.
Regarding this, refer to:

For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, *change* to the Teton service:

Thank you. I can now trade future options, I'm good with just long calls for my strategy. The ES historical data has been fixed as well. I think I only refreshed the data - delete and redownload it.
