Hi, I'm currently subscribed to the USD 46 Package 11 service. I just started a simulated trading account on Sierra Chart. When I opened my Chartbook on ESH'22 contract, I get an error message stating 'Symbol is unknown, market depth request is not allowed'. Can you please look into why is this happening? Thanks |

Hi Yang. I suspect you need to follow instruction #18 for the Simulated Futures Trading Service Setup Instructions which says: "If you have existing Chartbooks that you have been using with another supported Data or Trading service and you want to use them with the Simulated Trading Service, then when one or more of those Chartbooks are open, select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service." You do not have any access to the real-time CME data currently. So you need to use Trading Evaluator-Delayed instead. This is set through: Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks for the response. May I know why do I not have access to real time CME data and market depth data ? I have paid for the USD 46 package with Denali data feed. Is that not real time data subscription?

No it is not. You also have to pay for the exchange fees. What futures trading/brokerage service do you use? For the reason why we ask this question, refer to: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges (Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I am in the process of opening a live IBKR account. I've read the guidelines of the link to the page you've sent – If I am a non-professional, I ONLY have to pay 11 USD for CME-only real time data feed and market depth right ? In the mean time, is there any way for me to access the DOM and real time price data before my IBKR is approved and funded ? |

Yes that is the correct price. No, the CME does not allow this: In the mean time, is there any way for me to access the DOM and real time price data before my IBKR is approved and funded ?
