Rectangles move

I noticed the following " bug ". In FESX I always set many rectangles to Open/ Close (with snap to...). FESX was converted this year points to ticks. With the quote boards I also switch to FDAX. FDAX was also switched this year from tick to points. As long as I save the chartbook with the "FESX settings" everything runs without problems. But if I save the chartbook with the "FDAX settings" and open it later again and then switch to the FESX, the rectangles have partially moved. But only the rectangles are affected, which were previously set to a 1/2 point position (see pic). I think it has to do with the fact that there is a change between points and ticks. |

Assuming that you have not changed the Price Display Format, then the issue is that the FESX data is in 1/10 increments, where as the FDAX is in increments of 1. Therefore, the rectangle is moving in order to adjust to the price increments for the FDAX.

John, I do understad (see pic). Is there a way to avoid this behavior (at the moment I have set the check mark at "Show Chart Drawings...")? The QuoteBoard has different symbols with different price formats. Many thanks |

The best way to avoid this is to disable the following setting: Chart Settings: Adjust Tool Values to Tick Size (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Drawing menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
