Auto re-calc / redraw / re-fresh chart

Hello, I was looking for an auto refresh option. This link speaks to one but I don't understand how to find the file (Kiwi's Stuff2015/Recalc) and how to set it up/activate it once it is found. Auto Refresh of chart(s) ? Can you please help? Thanks Joal |

Use this study: Chart Recalculation - Periodic Just keep in mind that you may not really need this. Most studies update automatically when new data is added. There are a few, however, where the previous information is not updated, so you would want to use that study to update information for prior bars where there is some dependency on the current bar, but the study is not recalculating the older data. Also, doing a full recalculation of the studies can slow things down, so again, just understand the tradeoffs and use this study as sparingly as possible. Just keep in mind that you may not really need this. Most studies update automatically when new data is added.
Most of the time this is needed when third party studies give trade signals or trade levels based on data intrabar and not at the bar close.Resulting in repainting/different signals on a chart refresh or replaying the chart. |
