Hello: I am curious if it is possible to make it so that the font in the type text tool does not adjust based on x-axis scale. See the images below. Essentially I just want the text to stay in one spot instead of changing due to different "magnification" levels of the chart. Thanks for the help. The font is not changing as you change the magnification of the chart. But, if you are asking about the text moving to a different location in the chart as you change the x-scale, then that is due to the Text Tool trying to keep the text with the location of the bars that it was drawn by. If you do not want it to move, then use the Stationary Text Tool instead. John, Thanks for the response. Right, the font isn’t changing and I think that is the issue. It’s holding at 9 pt and I would like it to scale with the x-axis. Is this possible? Essentially the text is becoming larger in relation to the axes by staying the same size. Let me know. Thanks. |

Sorry, there is not support for this. You could create a custom study that could do this for you, or have it programmed. Refer to the following for the start of the documentation for our programming interface: Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL): Introduction And refer to the following for a list of programmers: List of Third Party Sierra Chart Study and System Programmers For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
