Can you help me I have problems connecting to TWS - The order bar disappears after execution - I can not trade many symbols because no order is transmitted to TWS see video http://somup.com/crl6DM05vN What can I do, where is the error, have you changed something? Back when the Fester Data / Trade Service Settings was still the old version, everything was OK. For info I use SC data and for execution only the TWS |

I have found a problem, it is no longer enough to select the symbol PYPL I must enter in SC exactly PYPL-STK-NYSE-UDS but this was not the case before or a year ago when it was sufficient to enter only PYPL. Can I set something in SC to keep my old notation? |

There is nothing you can do in Sierra Chart for this. It is just due to a change that we had to make for Interactive Brokers from some time ago. The requirement to have all the extra stuff for the symbol is what they are requiring.

I always use IB and i always just input /nflx or /ba on the chart and it give me the right symbol. Only for options and Futures that I have to go in the F5 menu and input it myself. I use Sierra chart data feed to get good live data and The latest software. If this can help |

so I did it earlier (a year ago) but now I have problems with it. With the share PYPL I get no execution or transfer to the TWS. And with other stocks I get an execution but the order status bar disappears after 5 seconds. @GrvisHTG can you please check this for PYPL with you if it works with you? |

They Symbol problem , I dont have any ATM , I know sometimes I need to delete my subinstance and reload it to make it work. ( i always use subinstance for charting ) my main have no charts. but the order status bar disappearing after 5 sec, that happen to me and It wont go , The status bar only stay on my options graph. Dev team , please look at this issus. Its a brand new issues that happen like 1 month ago. ! I port about it once , but I dont think you understood the issue. This does not make any sense and we never recommend doing this: I know sometimes I need to delete my subinstance and reload it to make it work. Ok , thanks for the answer Dev. Ill check with IB what we can do for that LINE , guess , it was a change on IB side that happen around 1 month ago. Just curious about why my option chart line stay , but my symbol line does not. And as for the Deleting of my subinstance, Yes I understand that It should not be require , and most of the time , it does not fix the problem , But on some occasion ( very rarelly , to make it clear ) , I had weird stuff happening and It fix it :) So I guess , Can be helpfull sometimes :) And it does not cost too much to just delete the sub and reopen the main instance !! have a great day, And I cant wait to get the TotalView of the nasdaq !
