Dear Programming.
Please check the "Flex Renko" Chart types
When I use Chart >> Duplicate Chart "The Flex Renko Chart" that results is very different from the source chart.

I've left this open as it may be a duplicate issue, or the duplicate is as defined by SC Programming.

The issue stems from the fact that "Duplicate Chart" does not duplicate the tick-size of the source chart. Hence the issue is not in the "Flex Renko" but the "Tick-Size" which the Renko references.

PS Is there a Study that re-creates the "Flex Renko" as I'd like to look at it in more detail.

Many thanks

In the next release, 2335, if this option is enabled, the Symbol Settings in the chart will be maintained duplication:
Chart Settings: Do Not Change Symbol Settings for Chart on Symbol Change (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu)

Thank you however still an issue with the Renko Bars.

Would you review the code in the Flex Renko (BarSize-TrendOff-RevOff); and the inverse set version.
Irrespective of type selected the flex renko chart does not build a bar immediately the tick value, or tick bar value + 1 tick is reached.
Neither is the flex renko building a reversal bar immediately the bars tick value, tick value + 1 closes in the opposite direction.
Its currently painting long bars > the Renko Bars value and then collapsing into the appropriate number of bars - it's like its creating ghost bars after the fact.

I don't think it's me. Please review but allow the bars time to extend beyond what should occur.

Many thanks

There are no problems with Renko bars. We are not going to spend any time on this. There is no chance with that whatsoever.

Also, set Sierra Chart to a Tick by Tick Data Configuration. Follow the instructions here to do this:

Thank you, that seems to be the solution.
As usual no issue just an incorrect setting by the user.
Many thanks for pointing me in the direction of the data unit size.
