What is the best way to accomplish a client-side stop market order? I see stop-limit-client but not stop-client. Is there something preventing this?

Thanks.

First, why would you want the order managed on the client side? If the exchange already supports a stop order there would be no reason to do this.

Because I don't want my orders being known and I'm willing to pay the spread to do it.

Besides if you have the other ones as client side, For completeness you should have a stop - client order imo.

agree, I also using client side orders and "client stop limit" order not always have executions/fillings... this is very sad
I wrote about this here:
Attached orders not works

also I can't add this order type for trading from DOM or "Trade menu" for mouse, why? So I need every time to write price in trade window :(

Worries me that they specifically wrote:

> do not use any Client side orders.

I guess that's enough for me. If they can't reliably implement client side orders then we have no choice but to expose our orders to the world which could cause adverse selection issues. Not happy with this as an option.

Client side orders, if you do not live in Chicago, have a latency/slippage issue.(with any platform)

Latency from live data and latency from triggered client orders can be over 1/2 second

Parked orders are in a cue to get filled. Parked orders have zero latency or lag.

The only thing that gets you noticed are trades in 10 lot increments. Enter the market 10 separate times to solve that.

SC cannot solve your latency/speed issues. Why do U think HFT are in Chicago and not Mississippi?
