Hello there, I feel Im asking a kind of premature question but I just digged into VIX Volatility Index and want to bring it onto a chart. Im subscribed to the Denali Feed and I just also subscribed to the CFE thingy. Was that enough? And how to I load the data into my chart? What symbol do I need to enter here? thx |

Since you have the CFE exchange, you can get the VIX futures. But, if you want the VIX index itself, that is available through the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. You will need to go through the instructions for that data feed and enable the CBOE Indices exchange. Refer to the information here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#SetupInstructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Yes the CFE is the right exchange. We have added easy access to CFE symbols when using Interactive Brokers. Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings: Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings The symbols are listed under File >> Find Symbol >> Futures- CFE The active symbol is: VXZ21_FUT_CFE Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
