Two questions 1) I am familiar with using session times using different shading to identify them. I also know that with continuous contract you display a vertical line separating the contracts. I s there a way to display only a vertical line for the session times instead of the shading ? 2) Is there a way to easily display the halfway point on the rectangle tool display ? Thank you Steven Leon |

1. Refer to the following: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ChartSettings.html#VerticalGridLinesAtEvery 2. What do you mean by Halfway Point? There is the ability to display the Midline of the rectangle, which is the middle of the prices. But there is not a way to show the middle of the time (width) of the rectangle. Refer to the following regarding the midline of the rectangle drawings: Chart Drawing Tools: Rectangle | Extending Rectangle | Ellipse | Triangle Configuration For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Is there a way to display the price value of the midline when this option is selected. I am able to display the price value of the top and bottom lines of the rectangle but not the midline. Thank you Steven Leon |

We would have to add the capability to display the midline price, therefore we have tagged this as a Feature Request. But, as a workaround, you can use the Spreadsheet Formula, which uses the Alert Syntax to determine that price level and then display it using the Value Label. For example, if the rectangle has an ID of -6, then you would write the following formula: =(UDID[6].A1 + UDID[6].A2) / 2 You would then set the Subgraph Draw Style to Subgraph Name and Value Labels Only and turn on the Value Label and set the position as desired. Refer to the following for the Spreadsheet Formula: Spreadsheet Formula Refer to the following for how to reference a Drawing in an alert: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Referencing Chart Drawings Refer to the following for setting the Draw Style to Subgraph Name and Value Labels Only: Chart Studies: Subgraph Name and Value Labels Only (ACSIL: DRAWSTYLE_SUBGRAPH_NAME_AND_VALUE_LABELS_ONLY) And refer to the following for how to use the Value Label: Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Name and Value Labels For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
