In a different thread, support told me to upgrade to the latest version because it might fix an order management related issue. So I did that this this morning. Latest current release is 2326, my previous release was 2320 I believe. Entering orders from the chart lets you change the lot size in the drawn order line. Before I could click that and it would pop up with small text field that was already selected and highlighted. I would then only need to enter the new lot size and hit enter. Nice and fast. Now you click on the order size and it pops up with that non-standard pop up. It pops up to the side and nothing is pre-selected. I then have to quickly and accurately move my mouse to quantity field to select it so that I can edit the amount. Then I click the quantity field and it doesn't highlight the quantity. So I have to either double click, click and drag, or use backspace/delete. All of this is way more tedious for the user. I'm disappointed you have made this change. After all these years in business don't you know that some traders require order entry to be fast? I mean especially in todays trading landscape it has become more and more common place in the industry for an efficient user interface for the trader. Please consider removing this new facility. It is another layer for a mistake to happen when we are working in fast and stressful environments. |

Update to the latest prerelease:Software Download: Fast Update I'm disappointed you have made this change. After all these years in business don't you know that some traders require order entry to be fast? This issue was the result, of some changes to the Settings Windows that had inadvertently caused the issue.
