the price expansion study consists of lines like e,g, the more simple line and ray studies - the latter have alerts associated with events like line crossing the price expansion study doesnt can u add support for alerts for all line based studies |

You can use the CROSSOVER, CROSSFROMABOVE, and CROSSFROMBELOW functions with Alert formulas to accomplish what you want. But we do not know what study you are referring to by the "Price Expansion" study. We do not have a study by this name. go to Tools/Price Expansion and there you will see the Price Expansion study it does NOT have the option/feature to set alerts associated with the lines drawn by it |

We understand now that you were referring to the Price Expansion tool. In this case, it is correct that there is not a way to put an alert for that tool.
