If I wanted to start just using Sierra Charts for live charting for some CME, Nymex, CBOT products what would be the most economical way of doing this just for charting and not trading to start.

The main issue you face is that the CME Group requires that you have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to qualify for their non-professional exchange rates. Refer to the following for more information: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges If you have an account that you can connect your Sierra Chart to, then you will need to do this. Otherwise, if you do not already have an account, then we recommend the following service: Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement Once you have the above resolved, then you will need to go through the Setup Instructions for the CME Group, which can be found here: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
