Today’s a bad day as i was supposed to be migrating to a new machine. But, for whatever reason Lenovo is saying that it hasn’t left the warehouse yet when it was supposed to be next day air. Standy until i get resolution please. |

Quick question (still waiting on the new machine) - is it better to import the entire SC file or to get a fresh install? Or alternatively dump all the chart data and just import the files less intraday and daily charts? |

We definitely recommend just copying your existing Sierra Chart installation and excluding the Intraday data files with a scid extension. Alright, so i've successfully gotten everything sorted and migrated onto a new machine. The issue is still there but, for whatever reason, randomly, one DOM will populate out of the three separate downloads. Sometimes in a new instance, sometimes in the main instance. This coupled with the P/L tracking issue i'm having is leading me to believe something is wonky with the actual install/original files as I'm on a completely new machine now. |
