In order to get the true SPX you would need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and activate the S&P Indices exchange. For more information, including Setup Instructions, refer to the following: Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed The symbol is going to be in this case $INX. The SPX500 is the CFD of the index. It can be used as a substitute, just be sure you understand what it measuring and how you should view it in relation to the $SPX.
