Hello,
To get a daily chart, as an example the e-mini S&P 500 for the cash session only (8:30-15:00 CT) I use an intraday chart with the 1-0-0 (days-minutes-seconds) parameter.
However, it's quite heavy in resources for a couple of monthss of data.
It's a huge load, which is ironic, as only the OHLC of the last bar (the current day) change during the whole session.
Is there any other way, like using a daily set of data ?
Currently the daily set of data Denali provides includes the full session (23 hours).
Same question for other CME and EUREX data.
Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Try intraday with 390 minutes for ES with Evening Session unchecked.

Not sure if that'll solve your problem but I've been using it for years with no load issues.

Hi cmet,
Thanks for your suggestion.
Loading the chart takes the same time with 0-390-0 or 1-0-0 (evening session uncheked for both) : about 20 seconds currently.
That'a a bit long, but not so long ; the real issue is that I follow many contracts on many charts, and all that adds up.
I think I need to buy a new computer too...

What you need to do is to use a separate instance of Sierra Chart set to use an Intraday Data Storage Time Unit of 1 Minute. Refer to:
