Hello:
It seems that I am having an issue where the real time data feed is not being transmitted properly (or received). When I refreshed my data it changed the chart and having perfect real time data is actually of high importance to my trading style. Are there steps that can be completed to help fix this? I have read through the documentation here: Differences With Data and Chart Bars Between Services / Connections / Chart Types: 43.4 Differences Between Downloaded Historical Data and the Real Time Collected Data

but I seem to come up empty handed. Is the Denali feed experiencing issues in regards to the /esZ21 contract? Thanks for the help

edit: for reference I am using a tick chart

The data should not be changing.

What exactly are you seeing, and are you certain the data is actually changing. Can you give us screenshots of what you are seeing?

Also, we want to make sure that you are getting the data from us - do you see the [M] showing after the symbol in the Chart Header?

It is possible that bars could change if the starting Date-Time in the chart changes.

But the first thing to check is whether you are actually getting the data from the Denali data feed.

Also, set Sierra Chart to a Tick by Tick Data Configuration. Follow the instructions here to do this:

Hi:
I have attached the two charts. Most notably the difference is at 6:18 on the photo

The images are of the same chart, just with a Reload and Recalculate done between them?

Please get us a copy of that chart by following these instructions:

And, as noted above, please ensure that your Intraday Storage Time Unit is set to 1 Tick.

For help with differences between charts, refer to:

Working With Charts: Resolving Differences of Chart Bars Between Charts

Chart bars definitely will change with variable timeframe bars, when reloading a chart, when there is not a new bar started at the start of the session.

The two charts have a "delete all and download" between them. The first one was from a screen recording live during the trading day. The second image and the attached book are after download. I was comparing charts with a couple of people using a different platform/data and my chart was different live from theirs. However, after delete and download they are identical.

I understand the issues with comparing charts like this, however all the charts compared have the same "start new bar at time" setting with the same time being used.
