Hi, I just setup my SC account today and connected it to my brokerage account. Orders seem to be processing correctly, but I can't get any data in the Trade Activity Log. The Trade Service Log gives the following: SC/TT Futures Order Routing | Requesting Trade Positions data. | 2021-10-04 18:11:22.768 SC/TT Futures Order Routing | No Trade Positions reported by DTC Server. Clearing existing Trade Positions. | Symbol: (unset) | TradeAccount: (unset) | 2021-10-04 18:11:22.827 |

There is only going to be data in the Trade Activity Log from the trading that you do from within Sierra Chart. There will not be any prior history. Hi! Thanks so much for the quick reply. I understand what you are saying, but I am also not seeing any log activity for trades made within Sierra Chart. SC is on the chart correctly showing the P/L, position, etc. for the trade, but nothing is showing up in the log. SC is correctly charging the order fee and my broker is showing the trades, but nothing is in the logs. I did verify that "Disable Trade Activity Log" is not disabled. |

We have to ask the most basic question, which is that you are looking at the Trade Activity Log correct? You will not see any information apart from errors, in the Trade Service Log. The next question is whether you have everything set properly to show your trades in the Trade Activity Log. Thank you for the help, and there is no problem asking the most basic of questions. I've done tech support for people, and I completely understand. And in this case, it was user error. I didn't notice that under the symbols selector the one with [Sim] was choses. The issue is resolved. Thanks again for the help. |
