Hello,

After the update to 2315 I didn't get any more data. It says "Downloading Continuous Contract Data" all the time.
I have already deleted everything under Data, as well as reloaded and recalaculated. nothing helped.
I use Rhitmic over Earn2Trade Account.

best,
rené

The Rithmic data does not supply previous contract information. Therefore, for you to get a Continuous Contract you would need to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for your data. Refer to the information here:

This is a definite problem because you do not have an actual live funded trading account. Refer to:

The only solution is to get a live account by using the following service:
Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement

And that will allow you to get the CME data at the non-professional exchange rates through our Denali Exchange Data Feed. Refer to the information for the Denali Exchange Data Feed here:

Let us know if you need help with the setup of the Denali Exchange Data Feed. Using this data feed will solve all of the market data issues.

Also refer to the prior post.

yes i understand you, only i mentioned yes i trade through a prop company. I can only establish one connection in sierra chart, right? so if i use denali data feed then i can only connect denali and no longer my prop company, right?

This is not correct. Sierra Chart is setup to get data either from us (Sierra Chart) or from your trading service, and still allow you to be connected to your trading service.

So you can get the data from us and still be connected to your prop firm's Rithmic connection.

You just have to connect to a live, funded, futures trading account at least once a month in order to qualify for the non-professional exchange fees from the CME Group.

can you show me how to do it? connect with denali and prop account.

if I would order the denali feed then I would have to set and connect it under data trade service, right?
because i choose data/trade service in sierra chart and click "connect Datafeed" so now i connect with denali feed, right?
and how can i now connect to my future broker or prop company account? I would have to disconnect again and choose another trade service, right?

The steps are the following:
1. Establish a live, futures trading account. We recommend using the solution explained at the following link. It will only cost you $100, which you do not lose, it will just sit in the account. We recommend using the Stage 5 option.
Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement

2. Setup the Denali Exchange Data Feed according to the instructions at the following link:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

3. If you used Stage 5 in Step #1, then proceed to Step #4. Otherwise, you will need to make a connection to your live, futures trading account based on what trading service you are using.

If your account uses CQG, then you will follow these instructions:
CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

If your account uses Rithmic, then you will follow these instructions (in this case, you will need to connect to the live trading servers, which are different from what you would connect to for the prop firm):
Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

4. Change your connection to the prop firm by changing the setup in the Data/Trade Service Settings. Since they are using Rithmic, you will go through these instructions to make the connection and set the server to the appropriate one:
Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

Once this is complete, just to ensure that the symbols are now set properly, select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. This will update the symbols to be the Rithmic symbols.

And then just to ensure that everything is correct, ensure that the option for Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support For Sierra Chart Data Feeds is set to Yes.

-------------------

After that, you will be all set for one month. You will be getting the data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed and trading with your prop firm.

If you did not use Stage 5 in Step #1, then you will have to remember to connect to your live trading account at least once a month. If you did go with Stage 5, then we have a "backdoor" to verifying your account with them, so you do not need to do anything else. Refer to the information at the following link with instructions on how to connect to your trading account once a month, if needed:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees
