For some reason every time I adjust a study and click 'ok' the price column on the chart DOM gets wide. I then have to click on recalculate and it narrows it to where I want it. Do you have any idea what might be causing this? I'd like to fix it. Thanks.

The implication is that the study is doing something that is causing the price ladder to think that it needs to expand, such as additional decimal places or something of that sort.

Is there a specific study for which this always happens, or does it seem to be all studies? Can you give us a specific workflow that causes this so we can try to reproduce?

Hey John,

Thank you for the reply. It happens when I make an adjustment to any study. As soon as I close out the studies and hit 'ok' the DOM width increases. I don't necessarily need you guys to recreate it but if I just have some sort of idea why this would happen I can go through everything and try to fix it. I have a feeling that I added a study that is maybe using a lot of decimal places like you mentioned but I'm not sure.

Let me know what you think. Thank you.

Also when I go to start a replay it widens and then narrows before it starts.

What you are seeing does occur, but there should be a good reason for it occurring. It should not be all the time like you are seeing.

Can you please get us a chartbook that has this occurring in it so we can see if we can reproduce it and see what is happening? Follow these instructions to get us the chartbook (you can attach it as a Private File which will only make it viewable by yourself and Sierra Chart personnel):

I figured it out. One of the lower regions was set with too many decimals that was causing it to happen. It appears to be fixed now. Thank you.
