Hi guys, after comparing the data with my mates I found out that I have different values after some time in the past (example CL future attached). I tried various data feeds, deleted & reloaded the data, compared my settings with my mates and followed through various posts here on the SC Support Board. So far w/o any success - wrong data is a key problem for any analysis and hence key for profitable trades. PLs. help! Cheers Pete |

Specifically what is wrong? We need to know the particular Date-Time and Time Zone and what is exactly wrong.

All this can be seen in the chart attached - also I marked as an example some daily lows which are incorrect compared with the correct data received from my colleagues. It seems that the data as of Sept. 17 seems accurate, whereas before that date they are incorrect. I am using the Brussels time zone (+1 CET, +2 CEST) PS: I will also attach an FPC screen shot with inside candle data for your reference Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-09-29 12:36:53

It sounds like you are comparing Daily data against Intraday Data. If this is the case, then refer to the following information: Historical Chart Prices: 12.2 - Comparing High And Low In a 24 Hour Historical Daily Chart To an Intraday Chart For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

That does not seem to be the problem. It seems that it has to do with the rollover: the data before the rollover date is incorrect as outlined in the following example from Sept. 16: Daily LO contract CLV21: 71,53 Daily LO after rollover to contract CLX21: 71,24 Pls- help - I already lost so much time in trying to fix this! PS: my continuous contract setting is "Cont. Futures Contract - Date Rule Rollover, Back Adj." Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-09-30 08:09:04

You need to show the rollover dates, as explained here: Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Displaying Rollover Transition Times and Contract Months Otherwise, none of us know what contract month you are looking at for a particular chart bar. And do not use one of the back adjusted Continuous Futures Contract options. That will change the pricing. You cannot use that option if you want correct pricing. That is the problem. You cannot use that setting. Instead use: Cont. Futures Contract - Date Rule Rollover Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
