Hi, I have a chartbook in which I have a regular traded hours daily chart on which I calculate 20 day,10 day, 5 day and previous day average ranges. I then use the daily range bands study to project the levels that would fulfill these average ranges. The study works exactly as intended until I hit save, when that happens the most recent days levels get shifted up/down incorrectly until I open the studies window and click apply at which point they are corrected. Unfortunately, I need to do this for each symbol I have this study setup for. This is also the case upon opening the chartbook. I have tried rearranging the order of the studies to see if it was a calculation dependency issue, and I run into the same issue. The only nuance to the calculation is that I displace the 20,10 and 5 day by 1 so that it doesnt include the current unfinished session. I dont believe this should be causing any issue as I am just using a setting within the study, but wanted to mention it just to add context. The two main studies being used are the average daily range study and the Daily range bands study. Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

The study works exactly as intended until I hit save, when that happens the most recent days levels get shifted up/down incorrectly until I open the studies window and click apply at which point they are corrected The reason for this relates to study calculation order. It must relate to study calculation order. What you describe is consistent with that. More information:Chart Studies: Study Calculation Precedence And Related Issues Use each study individually and see if you notice the same kind of problem following the steps you are describing. If not, then each individual study is fine but it then relates to the interdependency between them. It might help to create your own custom study to accomplish everything with one study.
