Hello, My free trial period will end in 2 days and I would like to have your advice. First of all, I'm interested with the $36 package (service package 5). Where I'm confused is the additional fees to pay: a- $25/month for the exchange data feeds b- The exchange feed price (the price I see there, e.g 115.50 USD/month is huge for a person like me who is not a professional trader). My questions: 1)I will like to take service package 5 and use Rithmic data feed. I am concerned with the $25/month for the exchange data feeds and the exchange feed price? 2) As a non professionnal trader, what can I do to have any reduction in the fees (especially the exchange fees price) and what do you need as a proof that I am not a professional trader? regards, |

What are the exchanges for which you want to have the real-time data?

For a beginning, I think that I'll will be trading Gold, Crude oil, Natural Gas and similar intruments. So I think the exchange I want is CME with market depth for non profesionnal trading accounts (Symbols: CME, GBLX). I may be wrong but with the instruments I want to trade and my non professional status, you can advise my on what exchanges are better for me. |

Gold is on the COMEX exchange. Crude Oil and Natural Gas are on the NYMEX. If you want market depth for these and you think you may need another CME Group Exchange (like CME for the ES), then we recommend activating the Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts.

For that, I must have a live trading account from a supported broker or trading platform. Right?

Yes, you are correct. In order to get that exchange, you would need to be considered a Non-Professional for the CME Group, and they require that you have a live, funded, futures trading account and that it be verified at least once a month. Refer to the following for more information: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges We do the verification by having you connect your Sierra Chart to your trading account. If you do not want to be connected all the time, then you would need to connect at least once a month.
