Hi, I tried the free trial for Sierra Chart but had trouble using the trial due to poor performance from my computer/network. Does Sierra Chart rely more on the computer or the network bandwith going to the computer? I recently upgraded my computer and am considering trying Sierra Charts again, but not sure if my previous troubles were from my computer or my network and if they will persist with an upgraded computer. Thank you |

Everything is important (Computer, Internet Connectivity, Graphics, etc.). The computing power is important for calculating the indicators, the drive speed is important for getting the data from the drive, the internet is important for getting the data from our servers, and we support the use of OpenGL for graphics, so a good graphics card can also help. It is very hard for us to tell you what to put together, as it is very dependent on your trading style and how many charts you like to have open, etc. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
