I use Rithmic Datafeed with Sierra from several years and it has always been fine. My group of study also do the same Sierra +Rithmic and all apreciate it. With the latest version 2310 we have seen that it is not possible any more matching SC historical data with Rithmic realtime EVEN IF ONE HAS SC Package 5, if I'm not wrong. So at this point chances are only: 1) Remaining with 2308 version "forever" or still it will work 2) Moving to Denali datafeed 3) or may be I'm missing something and it is still possible to get the historical by SC in some way when using SC Package 5 In the eventuality we want to move to Denali, the change has to start from our broker? Tks regards |

The only practical negative impact, of obtaining data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed as compared to when using other sources of data, is if you are considered a professional by the exchanges. The question is do you pay only Sierra Chart for the professional market data fees or do you have to pay them through your broker also? For a nonprofessionals it is a nonissue. The exchange fees, would be as little as 1 to 3 USD a month. To use the Denali Exchange Data Feed, you do not need to involve your broker at all. You can activate this at any time. The exchange fee will be free the first month. Instructions: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* The only thing you need to do is to tell your broker to cancel market data exchange fees. Since you will be paying them through the Denali Data Feed and not through your broker. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. feedback appreciated... *i'm confused about "market depth"; package#11 says it includes all of package#5 which includes 'market depth"; ---what is the difference between the market depth in package 5 versus the market depth in package 11+$31.20? in order to get market depth data for ES,NQ,YM,CL,GC won't i have to [now] pay $46/month [denali] + $31.20/month [denali exchange]; *currently i pay $36/month for such note: with oneuptrader we pay NO market data fees [both eval and funded accounts] note2: i do have a separate SC AMP verified account feedback most appreciated... just trying to understand how it all works now Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-09-20 14:06:47

Market depth data is not related to the Sierra Chart service packages. That is an exchange fee. If you need market depth data, you do have to pay for the exchange fee which provides market depth data. note: with oneuptrader we pay NO market data fees [both eval and funded accounts] As an alternative to those services you can use the Sierra Chart Simulated Futures Trading service for practice: Simulated Futures Trading Service Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. A] thinking further i currently get market depth [full order book] thru oneuptrader... i remember now because they had to add it B] as a funded trader thru oneup there are no more monthly subscription fees and there are NO fees for data/exchanges... [yes, there is the $3-5 roundtrip trade fee etc) |
