I want to trade options - Lets say on AAPL I wonder if its possible to make the the trading symbol change when the price reach a certain threshold or even if its a buy or sell order. Like from 140 to 142 you trade the 143 C if its a buy and the 138 P if its a sell. This would help for trading options. The other way I think of , will be to have multiple instance with a chartbook that already have all the seperated price in each with the main option price + a subchart with themain Symbol price. But this will take a lot of time to put together. Even the weekly rollover are a pain. I have Ask a friend already to do me a python program to build my options naming so , i am saving a lot of time here each day/week. But its not super friendly as It create a text file and I need to import that text file in a watchlist and choose from there. ( the best way I found for now ) Just wondering . Thanks and keep on going , your program rock ! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-09-10 23:12:30

You can always change the synbol of the chart using ACSIL. Refer to the following: ACSIL Interface Members - Variables and Arrays: sc.DataFile Also, you can change the Trade and Current Quote Symbol setting to change that particular item instead. Refer to the following: ACSIL Interface Members - Variables and Arrays: sc.TradeAndCurrentQuoteSymbol For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
