Sierra Chart ver 2288 64 bit Windows 10 After the long weekend I'm encountering errors in SC when attempting to pull up several equity symbols. It is not happening 100% across all symbols, however. Some symbols do load without issue. There appears to be no pattern to what symbols work and which don't. Download Failed
Error downloading historical Intraday data for AMC. Historical data file not available for symbol. I'm seeing this on AMC, SAVA, RNXT, and several other symbols. I've tried Delete all data and download but that doesn't work, just shows the above error again. I've tried restarting SC which didn't help. I've tried loading an older chartbook from when this was not happening, that did not resolve it either. Any suggestions on what to try next? Thank you in advance. We want you to disable the use of custom symbol settings: Global Symbol Settings: Use Custom Symbol Settings Values (Global Settings >> Symbol Settings) After that: Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". Apologies. Yes, disabling the custom symbol settings appears to restore functionality to the chart, but then I lose the customizations made to settings like Volume at Price Multiplier and Volume Multiplier that I customize for certain names. When I made a symbol specific Custom Symbol Setting entry, I copied the settings using the Duplicate button from the `???` wildcard records. Could this be creating the issue? Do I need to customize the settings for AMC or SAVA differently than what is set for ?, ??, ???, etc? |

There is a setting you need to set called Use Pattern Matching . That needs to be enabled in the symbol settings for the symbol. That should resolve the problem.
