I am trying to get the volume by price to show the VBP profile shrinking/growing as I scroll back through the day's bars. I am using this setting but not seeing any change: Volume By Price Study: Draw Difference of Bid and Ask Volume Using Percent of Max Bar In other words, as I scroll backward (or forward) through the period, I want the VBP profile to reflect the bars on the screen, instead it reflects the entire period regardless of how far back I scroll. How do I set this up to allow me to review the day, with the profile changing as I scroll through the period. |

The only option that will do what you state is to set the Volume Graph Period Type to Visible Bars. Refer to the following: Volume By Price Study: Visible Bars But we are not sure this is exactly what you want. If you want to be able to basically start at the beginning of the day and then scroll forward and see the VbP build up over the course of the day, then this would not work. The only way to do that would be to run a replay over the course of the day.
