Hello, Can you tell me how to display the volume by price as attached? I know how to display one block of volume by price but I don't know how to separate them (for instance, having many volume by price per 15 min on the same chart). Please find attached an example of what I'm talking about Regards |

To have multiple Volume by Price for specific timeframes, you would set the Input for Volume Graph Period Type to one of the Multiple options. For every 15 minutes you would use the Multiple Profiles Based on Fixed Time and then adjust the time period type and length to what you need. Hello, Thanks to John-SC support, I've been able to have multiple volume by price for 15 minutes time frame. But when I go to daily time frame, there is no volume by price. I would also like to have multiple volume by price for daily time frame. How can do that? Regards, |

It sounds like you are trying to get the Volume by Price on a Daily Historical Chart. This really does not work, as the data for the volume at each price level does not exist within those charts. Refer to the information here: Volume By Price Study: How Volume by Price is Calculated for Historical Daily and Higher Timeframe Charts For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

It is much more better. Thank you for your reply. It really helps me to go ahead with sierra chart. But the chart cannot go further in the past than 2021-8-4. What can I do if I would like to display the daily volume prices as from the 1st january 2020 till today? Here is a screenshot of my configuration and the result Regards, |

First, we want to point out that you have the first item correct already, which is that you need to use a Continuous Contract Chart in order to get further back in time. The next thing you need to do is to increase the Number of Days to Load in order to go back however far you want to go. For instance, since you want to go back to January 2020, you would need to load 610 days. Also refer to the following if you have issues getting the data: Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Instructions to Download/View More Historical Intraday Data And then just have your VbP setup for Multiple Daily profiles.
