unable to connect sub instance

Hi, I have followed the recommended settings but when I try to connect my second computer ( the sub instance) I get the attached error (connect event error. windows error code 10060. A connection failed because the connected third party did not respond properly. Looks like I missed something in the setup procedure but I cant work out what. The firewall on the computer you are connecting to, needs to be allowed to allow the connection . The port also needs to be forwarded through the router if there is one.
