Today I placed three trades on the E-Micro September. On your attached trade window to a 3 minute chart, I entered the two contracts tab. The window showed a quantity of two. When each of the three trades were actually placed, however, the orders were only for one contract each. What is going on. I was specifying two contracts on the attached Sierra Chart trade window. Yes, as shown in the trade orders window, I was only filled with one contract -- the open, the target, and the stop. I am using an automated system through Sierra Charts Spreadsheet for Automated trading to place the order on a specified condition (cross of moving average). The trades are being placed correctly according to the automated system, but only one contract is being traded even though two contracts are set in the attached Sierra Chart Trading Window. Please help me. What is going on? |

You need to set the quantity through this Sheet cell: Spreadsheet Systems, Alerts and Automated Trading: Order Quantity [J26] The order quantity on the Trade Window is not used for automated trading.
