I am using the Move To Breakeven for Stop to trail the stop to my entry price. My question is how can I set it up to trail the stop after the price moved 2 ticks in my favor? it seems there is a certain distance that price has to move for the trail stop to activate, I cannot seem to find where it is set. Thank you |

From what you are stating, you would want to use the option for Trail to Breakeven Offset Triggered. Then you can specify the trigger offset for when it will start trailing. Refer to the information here: Attached Orders: Type But, also be aware of the Triggered Trailing Stop Order Type: Order Types: Triggered Trailing Stop For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you John, I have read these pages and I understand what you said, but I still don't find a way to do what I need which is actually very simple, here is an example: With an initial stop size of 10 ticks, after the parent order is triggered, as soon as the price goes 2 ticks in my favor beyond the entry price I need the stop to be moved to the entry price (B/E), not 10 ticks away from the price. Is there a way to achieve this? |

If you just want it to move to Breakeven without any trailing, then just set Step 1 Move to Breakeven Type to Offset in Ticks Triggered. Then in the BE Level Offset you would enter 0 and then in the Trigger Offset you enter 2.
