Here is a reason, why this is a BUG: while keyboard commands Working with Spreadsheets: Keyboard Commands do not work after spreadsheet tab was opened, e.g. pressing Enter will have no effect, commands from spreadsheet menu with assigned keyboard shortcuts do work. So these is a workaround for navigating through cells without doing stupid mouse click on the already focused spreadsheet: assign a keyboard shortcut to 'Edit Formula' command, open spreadsheet tab, execute 'Edit Formula' command, press up or down arrow key to quit formula editing, continue to use arrow keys to navigate through cells.
