chart scale font

Hi, I just switched to a 4k screen. Fonts on both x and y axis are so small that they are not readable. I have tried in both chart and global settings to increase the font size but it does not change the scale fonts. I have read your documentation twice and still can not change scale font size. Help! Thx |

The scale font size is controlled by the Chart Text font settings. Refer to the information here: Graphics Settings: Chart Text - (current font name) Be sure you are changing the font on the Fonts tab for the appropriate Graphics page (either Global or Chart depending on the setting for Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings within the Chart Graphics window. Make sure the chart you want to make the change to is active. Then go to Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart for that chart and tell us if the option for Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings has the check in the checkbox or not.

Thank you. Follow these instructions to change the Chart Font which will change the Scale font: - Select Global Settings >> Graphics Settings to bring up the global graphics settings. - Select the Fonts tab at the top. - Select the Chart Text - ?????? entry at the top of the list to highlight it (the ?????? represent the actual font name that is selected). - Select the Select button at the bottom of that window to bring up the Font Properties window. - Change the size of the font in the Size section on the right of the font properties. - Select OK to close the Font Properties window. - Select Apply to apply the change to the chart and see how it affects the scale. - Adjust as necessary. Talked with Customer. The issue was that he was using Detached windows which did not have the Menu Bar displayed. Therefore, when selecting Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart from the main Sierra Chart window, it was not actually selecting the detached window settings, but rather the settings for an attached window within the main Sierra Chart window. I showed the customer how to add the "Show Menu" option to the right-mouse which will allow him to display the Menu and then be able to change the Chart specific settings.
