Hi,

I probably missed something, but this is my chart setup :
- Forex
- 60 minutes bars
- Session time 00:00:00 to 23:59:59
- No evening session
- Doesn't matter the setting for the week-end data I always get the 3 bars on friday evening (9pm, 10pm, 11pm).

I have this setting enabled, but I need to keep it : "Include columns with no data".

Please sse screenshot attached.

In a way it makes sense according to the setting, is there a a way to do :
Mon - Thu : 00:00:00 to 23:59:59
Friday : 00:00:00 to 20:59:59
Saturday : no data
Sunday : 21:00:00 to 23:59:59

I've tried this without success :
Chart Session Times: Filtering Out Friday Evening Data

Please let me know if there is a way do to this.

Regards,

Set your chart session times so that the end time is aligned with New York close for your timezone.

The problem is the session times is different for the week days, friday, saturday and sunday, how do you do that ?

By enabling the option for Include Columns with No Data, you are going to get those times printed on your chart no matter what.

But, if you just want to get rid of the bars themselves for those times and leave the times on the chart, then you want to also enable the option for Do Not Draw Columns with No Data. Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Do Not Draw Columns With No Data (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Chart Bar Settings menu)

Ok, so just to be completely sure, there is no way to remove only thoses empty bars when the market is close, but keep "Include Columns with No Data" when the market is open ?

Because I do want to see the "empty bars" during a normal trading session, I juste dont want to have them when the market is closed.

This is quite surprising, plus I beleive the Forex is widely used with Sierra.

That is nonsense, NY close is same each trading day.
For eastern time zone, just set to:
Start - 17:00
End - 16:59

Just adjust to suit your timezone and it will work.

Yes post #6 makes sense. And then you can set the chart to exclude weekend data or Saturday data. Which will filter out Friday evening.
