Hello. I have been with you guys for a few months. I realized that my charts still say "delayed". I was told by a friend that I would need get an added subscription to get real time live data. I still want to work on my sim account but I just want live data to confirm my thoughts and hypos when I am trading. What do I need to do to get the live data? Thanks

What are the exchanges for which you want the real-time data?

If you want data from the CME Group, then be aware of their requirement that you have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to qualify for the lower-priced non-professional exchange fees. Refer to the information here:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges

We do want to point out that the Delayed Streaming data for the CME Group and EUREX acts, in all ways, the same as real-time data. So it may not be required that you pay for real-time data while you are still testing.

Thanks for the response. I'm planning to try and get a funded account with TOP Step.. Unfortunately, they do not use the Sierra charts platform but I really enjoy the platform and it's easy for the type of trading style that I use. My plan was to use Sierra charts for all of my charting and just use one of the top steps recommended platforms to trade on to get the funded account. It would have been easier to do but since I have a delay on the Sierra charts it's making it difficult to trade in real-time on the funded account because there is a 10 minute delay between the two. Is there any options I can do to make this situation work? I really want to try and get this funded account. Thanks.

You can always pay for the real-time data, it's just a matter of how much. Again, the main thing is that if you are wanting data for the CME Group then you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account that you can connect to at least once a month in order to qualify for the lower-priced non-professional exchange fees. Refer to the information here:
