data older than 5 days wont load for intraday chart... :(

new install... no matter how many times i change the settings in chart setting for data for intraday, it wont load. :(

What is the setting for File >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service set to? attached - set to interactive brokers. i have active account, data loads for daily; for intraday only loads 5 days or so at max.

That is a limitation of the Interactive Brokers data. In order to get more historical data, you will need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed for U.S. Stocks and the Denali Exchange Data Feed for Futures data from the CME Group, EUREX, and CFE. sorry can you clarify, are you saying that i cannot request say 15 minute bar data for more than 1 week from IBKR? (or 30 min. for more than 1 week, etc.)?

You can request it, but they are not supplying it. What you are getting in Sierra Chart is whatever historical data is being sent. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing

here to show that you are incorrect. i have always been able to get more than week worth of data regardless of the time frame. i restored an older version (v2282. from a back up. here is the result of getting 5 min data for MSFT from IBKR. so there is something going on with SC(newer version) or there is a setting i need to tweak.

The only setting that is available that could impact the amount of data is in Data/Trade Service Settings and is called Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download Limit. You can change this value and see if it makes a difference. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing
