Once the Sierra Chart direct order routing service becomes available will it work for those of us that are still with AMP Futures?

That is unfortunate for all of us AMP customers. Don't get to switch to SC's CME Direct Routing... and don't regain access to the Web-Based Portal, either. Makes me wonder: Is it SC not wanting to work with AMP? Or AMP not wanting to work with SC? After all, you had (what appeared to be) a good working relationship with them in the past. Too bad. |

It is more a case, that we have an easier path and dramatically easier path, and an assisted path, with other clearing firms to get this released. But the initial release is not going to be with AMP and whether it becomes available there, we do not know. But the initial release is not going to be with AMP and whether it becomes available there, we do not know.
For those of us with AMP, will we still be able to trade via CQG order routing after you implement your own direct order routing? |

Looking ahead I really hope SC and AMP are able to work together. I want to use the SC order routing but I do NOT wish to change brokers. Appreciate that this needs effort from AMP as well as from SC.

Regarding post #5, yes, although gradually from September to the end of the year there will be a requirement to use CME and EUREX data from our own data feeds instead of CQG. Looking ahead I really hope SC and AMP are able to work together. I want to use the SC order routing but I do NOT wish to change brokers. Appreciate that this needs effort from AMP as well as from SC.

I'm also hoping Sierra Chart and AMP can work together. I have used Sierra Chart for quite some time because it has good usability. And I like what AMP offers as a broker and would rather stay with them. I've looked at the other brokers and decided to stay with AMP.

I like AMP's margins. I have looked into other brokers and it appears AMP has the lowest margins which of course has pros and cons.

Yes, that is true, and that is not something that other brokers are willing to match. It exposes them to unnecessary risks.
