I have been trialling this package for a few days and I am quite pleased with it. However there is some functionality that I cannot work out if it is present or not that I used within TWS from IB.

Firstly, level 2 - I cannot seem to recreate similar that that what I have in TWS - is this not a possible function?

In TWS I can easily set up an alert by clicking on the chart. If the price reaches my alert I get a message box or sound - I cannot see that I can set up such an alert with ease?

In the time and sales window, it does not appear to show me if the bid size or ask size has changed - it only seems to show when a trade has transacted - is this correct?

Do you have a scanner solution that can scan through an entire market of stock -s for example the complete NASDAQ - looking for criteria soy, largest percentage gainers with a price of over xx and volume over xx?

Is it possible to move the columns in time and sales - for example, it would be nice to have the the bid size and ask size next to one another.

Thank you for your help.

Olly

For simple price alerts we recommend using the Symbol Alerts feature which is documented here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_AlertsManager.html#SymbolAlerts

For the Time and Sales window you need to enable Settings >> Show Bid and Ask Records. You can also select what columns to display in the Time and Sales Settings window.

Scanning an entire exchange will require that you and all of the symbols for the exchange. Here is information about scanning:

Hi there

Thank you for the response.

I would like to ask again about level 2 support.

Also, it is not the bid/ask size at the time of a trade, it is when the bid and ask size changes when there has been no trade - is this supported?

I see no way I can format the order of the columns in T&S.

Thanks

This has already been answered in the prior post. Here it is again:

For the Time and Sales window you need to enable Settings >> Show Bid and Ask Records.

This is done through the Time Sales window.

You can enable and disable Time and Sales columns but not change the order of them.

We are not understanding why you are not understanding our response about the level 2 data question (Actually, you are not really referring to level 2 data). Post #5 answers how to display the changes with the bid and ask data. Have you tried the option we specified?

This question is separate to the time and sales question, it really is level 2 data I want to display - the market makes, the number of orders on the books etc. I can not see a window that displays this specific level 2 data - do you not support this?

I am not able to check the time and sales resolution until later but I am sure you are correct on there. Only the level 2 data window questions remains unanswered.

Thanks
