There seems to be some change affecting UDP interface.
Port numbers in multiple instances have been reset to 0 and setting a new port number does not trigger the UDP listener to load.
Why is this?

Yes that is true. There were port number conflicts we were seeing in sub instances. So we set the port number to zero for those. We did not think anyone would be using the UDP listener in a sub instance.

We can allow this again.

And also, a restart probably would be needed whenever the UDP port number is changed.

Ok, understood, that explains what I am seeing.
Combined with AutoHotKey, the 'OPEN_CHARTBOOK' command is extremely for opening/switching bewteen sets of related chart books when using multiple sub-instances.

Hi SC team,

Have any additional changes been made to the UDP port of the 2nd instances please ? I compile code on VS but I use the UDP port to release/allow load DLLs so that VS can generate the DLLs and I only have to click on apply in the studies' window on SC side ; I am asking because I have been working like this for years now and I get errors since this morning.

Also, could you please let me know where I can change the UDP port value now ? I don't remember where this setting is in SC and your doc doesn't seem to be updated : "To enable the UDP interface and to change the port number, select Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> SC Server Settings. Set the UDP Port to a nonzero number to enable the UDP interface."
UDP Interface

One odd thing I have noticed is if I click on "release all DLLs" then "allow load DLLs", VS can use correctly the UDP port once but then the issue appears again ...
