Hello! This question is in relation to the Volume by price Study in relation to the TPO charts. I would like each individual bar in the volume by price to show me the contracts traded in each bar. I've attached a photo if that helps from my other trading platform which provides this feature. Is there away to do this in Sierra charts? Thank-you Bhupinder |

If you want to see the actual Number of Trades, then that is something that we need to work on. When you have a VbP associated with a TPO then when you display the Number of Trades in the VbP it is actually showing you the Number of TPOs at that price level rather than the number of trades. But, if you are just looking for Volumes, then those are supported and working. Refer to the following: Volume By Price Study: Display Volume in Bars For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello John! Thank-you, Okay so if I understand currently I am currently unable to see the total volume at each volume bar? The reason I wanted to see this is because when the market has 4 tpos at 1 price level and another 4 tpos at another price level, knowing if the TPO at price level 1 has 70k contracts traded vs price level 2 which only has 20k makes a huge difference. Yes I could probably visually see it, however because the VBP scales as more and more TPO's are created, it can show a big volume bar for 15k contracts only to become very small volume bar after when the market hits 70k contracts traded at another price level. If you're able to correct this, that would make such a huge difference. Thank-you Bhupinder |

In the VBP study settings, just change "Display Volume in Bars" from "None" to "Total Volume". There's a ton of options for what you can display. |

sorry for hijacking but it is directly related: can one automatically "mark" (like peaks/valleys, with forward projection) any volume exceeding a certain threshold, e.g. "everything over 10k volume"? |

can one automatically "mark" (like peaks/valleys,
with forward projection) any volume exceeding a certain threshold, e.g. "everything over 10k volume"? In the Volume by Price the only item available to "mark" a certain volume above a value is to use the Volume Text Threshold.
