Hello,

These days, a message appears when I started Sierra Chart, a part that is of interest to me is this:
- 2021-06-03: Effective July 1, 2021, the new highest quality EUREX EOBI real-time and historical data which is part of the Denali Exchange Data Feed will be required to be used for all Sierra Chart users requiring real-time EUREX data in Sierra Chart. This is the very best EUREX data feed which is not offered anywhere else.

Could you please confirm that if I do not have your Denali data feed for EUREX as of July 1, you will prevent me from trading via Sierra?
Because as discussed in one of my previous questions - based on your own warning that brokers charge extra fee (which is 250 USD per month) I have no clue how to proceed. Does it mean that because of your change in your policies, I will have to stop using your platform for trading?

Regards,
H.

No this is definitely not the case. But there is a requirement to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for market data. This works with all supported Trading services. Refer to:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Introduction

This is not a warning from us:
based on your own warning that brokers charge extra fee (which is 250 USD per month)
We do not know what you are referring to.

Here is your warning (at the bottom of your post):
question about switching to Sierra Chart + Denali datafeed + order routing | Post: 265898

As to the trading, could you please explain the exact way how I am going to trade after I activate the Denali datafeed?
I still need an order routing service so how will I use it?

Thank you.

H.

That is not a warning. It is just information and mentions no price.

could you please explain the exact way how I am going to trade after I activate the Denali datafeed?
Just as you do now. There are no changes to who you trade with. You are using Rithmic and that will remain the same.

Thanks.
I understand so let me rephrase it - not a warning but an advice.
Yes, you did not mention the price, I did because I asked and the reply was 250 USD per month (I also put that in my reply to that copied post).
This is also just an information, this time for you so that you have an idea of how much Dorman charges.

I am still a bit confused. Your first reply contains the information that:
"But there is a requirement to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for market data."

Your next reply contains the information that:
"There are no changes to who you trade with. You are using Rithmic and that will remain the same."

Those two sentences seem contradictory. How can there be a requirement to use the Denali datafeed when you say that I am using Rithmic datafeed and that will remain?
Could you please explain? Thank you.

If I can trade the way I have traded so far without any changes in the way my charts in Sierra Chart diplay, also historically, I am happy.

I like your software, it has always done what I asked. Your support has always been helpful. I always devote time to reading your updates, recently mainly on datafeeds, and since the time you have started to inform about the unreliability of other datafeeds, it has been a bit worrying. So every piece of new information brings out a concern of what changes will affect me directly and what changes I will have to make. So I apologize if I occassionally get a bit biased towards my fears of being forced to change what I am used to. Thank you for your understanding and replies.

Regards,
H.

Read the introduction section here for the Denali Exchange Data Feed:

Denali Exchange Data Feed: Introduction

And also read this section:

Anyway, if you still do not understand, not to worry, we will handle this set up for you. First thing to do is to complete this agreement:

Thank you for your kind support.

I have gone through the instruction pages and also read the Agreements I should sign.

Could you please explain the following:

1) The Uniform Subscriber Agreement EUREX contains a section about Exchange fee. Does it mean:
a) I will pay it twice - both to you AND to Rithmic/Dorman
b) I will pay it only to you by adding balance to my account with you and tell the broker to stop charging it
c) No change, I will pay it to Rithmic/Dorman as before

2) Do I need to activate the Denali datafeed? So:
a) Do I need to upgrade to advanced package with Denali datafeed? or
b) No change, I can continue with the current advanced package.

Thank you once again.

H.

1. The answer is b) I will pay it only to you by adding balance to my account with you and tell the broker to stop charging it

2. The answer is a) I need to upgrade to advanced package with Denali datafeed

Refer to the Setup Instructions for the Denali Exchange Data Feed for EUREX data here:

Hello,

I have arranged with my broker to change to your market datafeed with Rithmic clearing.
I will use my current datafeed till the end of June.
Than I will not be at my PC during the first half of July due to vacation. My question is: Is it possible to activate your Denali datafeed (EUREX only) for the rest of July and use a trial period in August or do I have to use the trial period only immediately after I activate Denali datafeed?

Thank you.

H.

The EUREX exchange does not offer a free trial, so you will have to pay the full amount regardless of when you activate it within a month.
