I am looking to use the McClellan Oscillator on a ratio between two different breadth symbols, but it looks like that doesn't work. How can I roundabout this? For instance, I made a ratio between NYSE new current day highs and NYSE new current day lows, and am trying to apply the MO to the output of the ratio study.

The McClellan Oscillator is looking for the Close data. Therefore, if your ratio study is not a Bar with Open, High, Low, and Close data, then the McClellan Oscillator will not work.
