DESCRITPION -------------------------- Unable to scale out when global position limit is met STEPS ------------------------- 1 -- Set global position limit (mine is set to 4) 2 -- Take trade, with multiple attached orders, at your limit (enter with 4 orders, 1 contract each) 3 -- Try to scale out (make sure “support scale in” and “support scale out” options are checked) 4 -- BUG >> Unable to scale out; nothing happens; you remain in the trade TRADE LOG reads: “Order will cause Global Position limit of 4 to be exceeded.” I didn’t have this problem until I upgraded to build 2256 |

Verified problem exists in latest release -- build 2261. While stuck in my trade I increased the global position limit from 4 to 5 and was able to start scaling out. |

Tried to test this for you but pre-release 2264 does NOT honor the number of contracts set in the "use global trade position limit" field (under "global settings" > "symbol settings"). Fixing the global position limit issue would be a prerequisite to determining if the scale-out bug exists in the pre-release -- as it is part of the setup.

It will not, for internal simulated trading (Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On). That setting is not supported with simulated trading as the documentation says.

Interesting: Every build I used prior to pre-release 2264 honored the global position limit. I guess the previous versions were not behaving as expected then. Thanks |

The global position limit was not expressly disabled for simulated trading in prior versions but it would not work reliably. Now it is expressly disabled.
