We need more information on exactly what is happening in terms of "locking up". In particular, is the data stopping, but are you able to interact with the User Interface? Do you have a lot of drawings on the screen, or using a lot of transparent items? Does it just interact slowly, but does "catch up" to what you want to do? Is there something specific you are doing when it "locks up"?

So what happens is it.. the mouse sits and spins only on the sierra platform.. I can still access my interactive brokers
platform with ease... mouse over to SIERRA-- AND THE MOUSE IS SPINNING... A RESTART OF SIERRA IS THE ONLY FIX FOR NOW

Ok, that gives us some information. Exactly what was the last thing you did prior to it "locking up" as it did? Is it a reproducible thing, or is it just happening at random?
